Policy Networks
Encouraging linkages between individuals and institutions dealing with transportation is central to the Rudin Center's mission. To realize this goal the Center pursues partnerships with various academic, governmental, and organizational entities. These relationships are born from a common interest and commitment to transportation issues that can be better served through a union of resources and skills. These networks vary in size and scope, ranging from regional coalitions that address specific challenges facing the New York transportation industry to national and international partnerships. Examples include the
Council on Transportation,
Empire State Transportation Alliance (ESTA), the
National Association of City Transportation Officials, Inc.(NACTO), and the
Urban Transportation Benchmarking Partnership.
