A discussion with Dean Ellen Schall, Professor Ingrid Gould Ellen, and Professor Lucille Pilling

Women represent a majority of Wagner’s student body and the school also has a substantial number of women in leadership positions from its faculty to its administrators.

Outside of the Puck Building however, women do not hold the majority (or are even at parity) of coveted high-level leadership positions in the government, nonprofit, and private sectors.

Since Wagner prepares its students to address the social and public challenges of the world by providing an education that enables students to “transform our personal commitment into public leadership,” the Wagner Women’s Caucus is pleased to present an exciting interactive panel to discuss women’s roles in leadership.

Panelists will discuss such topics as: how being a woman affected their educational and career choices; how their gender influenced their teaching; and how the women's movement and other changes have impacted changes in the public and nonprofit sectors for women. Audience participation will be encouraged and substantial time will be given for a question and answer session.

WOW is sure to be a particularly meaningful event, as it will be a great opportunity to learn about and from successful women leaders at Wagner.

We look forward to seeing you on September 16th. Refreshments will be served.
