For 70 years, NYU Wagner has been training students to have influence in the field of public service. Whether seasoned professionals, recent college graduates, or mid-career managers, students arrive at NYU Wagner with the desire to serve the public and they leave with the skills needed to make change. Our success is based on a rigorous academic program that links theory to practice with an overall emphasis on the development of critical thinking and communication skills.
In local, national, and international arenas, Wagner graduates can be found playing significant roles in the redevelopment of communities, advocacy for social justice, and the provision of vital health and human services.
These employment statistics were tallied from surveys distributed to graduates six months after graduation, and at subsequent two month intervals to those who did not respond, for a total of three mailings per graduate. The overall response rate was 80%. Of the 4% of respondents who indicated that they were not working: 2% were seeking employment, 1% were continuing their education, and 1% were not seeking employment.
