Check Out Photos from the Alumni Across the U.S.A. Happy Hours
Alumni all over the country enjoyed the company of their fellow graduates at Wagner happy hours held in Boston, D.C., the Twin Cities, L.A. and San Francisco on January 30th. The L.A. group reports they had "a fabulous evening of conversation, food and drink and even some celebrity sightings! It was a great opportunity for alumni from many different class years to come together to network and talk about the upcoming election and inner workings of LA." We hear alums in Minneapolis and St. Paul braved a 40-below windchill to meet with each other for the first time! And alumni in the San Francisco Bay Area "discussed local politics, exchanged business cards, and talked about bringing together a strong network of Wagner Alumni. The event was a fantastic first step towards building up our Bay Area network." View photos of the Bay Area and LA Happy Hours online. Want to reconnect with alumni in YOUR city? There’s something about the number 13 this year for Susan Lacerte (MPA ’91). She has been at the Queens Botanical Garden for 13 years, and as a leap-year baby, she will be celebrating her 13th actual birthday on February 29th. But superstitious or not, nothing seems unlucky about her current circumstances. As Executive Director of the Garden, she leads one of New York City’s most beautiful institutions. Read the full profile.
