Before you Apply - Is Wagner Right for me?
Visit Us
The process of selecting the right graduate school can be a difficult one. NYU Wagner encourages prospective students to visit and explore the many options available. Currently, there are three formal prospective student programs: Information Sessions, Small Group Sessions, and Walk-in Hours - see details below.
Open House
The best way to get a broad introduction to NYU Wagner is to attend an Open House. You will learn about Wagner's vision for a public service education re-framed, hear in-depth descriptions of our programs, get important information about admissions and financial aid, and have an opportunity meet faculty and a current student. Wagner hosts five to six Open Houses during the academic year.
Our Open Houses will take place at the Puck Building, 295 Lafayette Street, 2nd Floor. Sign in begins at 5:30 pm, and we begin at 6:00 pm. At approximately 6:30 pm, we break out into program sections where you will have the opportunity to talk with faculty, staff and current students from each program. The event typically ends around 7:30 pm.
Upcoming Open House Dates:
Tuesday, December 1, 2009
*Please note, there will be no doctoral breakout at the December Open House

We offer a brief tour of Wagner immediately prior to our Small Group Information Sessions every other Friday.
Small Group Information Sessions
NYU Wagner staff host small group information sessions which are an informal way to learn about Wagner and ask questions of Admissions staff. Small Group Sessions can also be useful throughout the application process or if you are unable to attend an Open House Information Session. Information Sessions are offered on the following Dates at the Puck Building, 295 Lafayette St, 2nd floor.
Upcoming Information Sessions: TBA

Visiting Classes
Sitting-in on a Wagner course gives prospective and admitted students an opportunity to see first-hand an NYU classroom, interact with current students, and share in the knowledge of Wagner's dynamic faculty. Below are the classes that are open to prospective and admitted students for the Fall 2009 semester. Please RSVP via the links below to let us know when to expect you. In order to mimimize class distruptions, please do not attend a class without having registered in advance or calling the admissions office to verify availability.
Most classes are conveniently offered in the evening; yet, visits are subject to availability.
To RSVP for a class visit, please use our online reservation form by clicking on the class below that you are interested in attending and registering for the date that you would like to attend. Once you RSVP, please click on "event details" and print which will serve as your pass into the building. Please note, photo identification is required for access to all buildings.
